Gel Cell Lead Acid Batteries
Considered the safest of the lead acid range, Gel Cell lead acid batteries are ideal for general power supply purposes and (depending on model) deep cycle applications. The advantage of using a Gel Cell Battery is that it performs well in high temperature surroundings. The downside is that the Gel Cell is the most sensitive lead acid battery to over voltage charging. Correct charging practices are crucial in achieving the manufacturer rated lifespan of the battery.
