Hakko's FX-888D offers digital precession temperature control at similar price as other conventional analogue soldering station. Hakko FX-888D is a quality made precession adjustable soldering iron designed for the trade, repairs and the serious electronic enthusiast.
The FX-888D utilises T18 series tips that provide superior heat conductivity. This allows for soldering at lower temperatures that reduces thermal impact on components as well as reduces oxidation that can shorten tip life. Tip will reach 350 Degree (Celsius) temperature in 20 seconds!
The Hakko FX-888D is very simple to use and features only two operation buttons for all the units features, settings and memory recall. The station features user pre-set temperature settings so that specific jobs or component work can be recalled at any time.
Replacement elements, tips and a wide range of accessories are readily available for the FX-888D.
