Panasonic 18650 3.7v 3400mah With New Positive Cap (NCR18650B)

Mr Positives new version of the popular Panasonic 18650 3.7v 3400mah NCR18650B battery with better positive terminal design to suit a wider range of devices. This battery has been made to our specs using a standard Panasonic 3400mah NCR18650B and a modified cap that is attached to the positive terminal as well as a protective shrink wrap. The addition of the modified positive terminal cap allows for the battery to be used in a wider range of devices and chargers. The original Panasonic NCR18650B cell featured very flat positive end. In some devices this design did not allow for good electrical contact. Particularly if there was more than battery used in the device.

This new version of our Panasonic NCR18650B is as a result of customer feedback around the original NCR18650B and its limitation in certain high powered torches. This battery is shrink wrapped to protect cell and the modified cap. The standard Panasonic NCR18650B is inside shrink wrap as in the third product image.

This cell is a RAW cell and does not have any built in protection circuitry.

The addition of cap increases the length from original Panasonic NCR18650B. The downloadable data sheet refers to the original NCR18650B charge, discharge and temperature characteristics which are still accurate. However dimensions are different as the cell has been modified with addition of cap. Please refer to our specifications for battery dimensions.
